Approach to Care
Fikirta B Forrester is a native Annapolitan and has one daughter. She has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for over 12 years. She enjoys working with underserved and uninsured patients. She is a proud member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and A Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. member since 2020. She is the chair of Annapolis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc Community Engagement committee. During her spare time she volunteers with the children of Glimpse of Paradise. She has participated in multiple “Back to School” drives, bicycle giveaways and helped people experiencing homelessness and the less fortunate during the holidays. She was an honoree at the 29th Annual Fannie Lou Hamer Awards Reception. She earned her Associates degree in nursing from Anne Arundel Community College, a Bachelors of Science degree in nursing from the College of Notre Dame and Master’s of science in nursing from Bowie State University.
