I got into healthcare after the loss of my son. I was in the ICU with him for over a month and was really captivated by the care and the empathy my son and I received during that time. Even though that was a trying time for my husband and I, I decided I wanted to give back to others like those health care providers gave to us.
I hope to educate my patients and empower them to take the best care of themselves as possible. I hope to encourage patients to take ownership of their health and give them the tools to make it happen. I look forward to developing long-term relationships with my patients to help them not only with their acute illnesses, but to help manage chronic conditions and all aspects of their primary care.
I try to prioritize my own health by exercising regularly, going to my yearly annual physical, staying up-to-date on all of my preventive measures, and living a healthy lifestyle. I look forward to helping you do the same.
